Pomegranate and Banana smoothie
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of chilled plain non-fat yoghurt
- 2 cups of chilled pomegranate juice
- 2 large bananas, thickly sliced
Directions:
- Add the yoghurt and pomegranate juice in the blender.
- Add the bananas and puree until smooth.
- Pour the smoothie in a tall, chilled glass and serve at once.
Almond and Strawberry smoothie
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of previously soaked raw almonds
- 1 cup of coconut water
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of strawberries
- ½ teaspoon of agave nectar
Directions:
- Add the almonds, coconut water and salt in the blender. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the almond milk through a sieve and put it aside. Rinse out the blender.
- Add the strawberries, agave nectar and almond milk in the blender and puree.
- Pour the smoothie in a tall, chilled glass and serve at once.
Mango and Coconut Milk smoothie
Ingredients:
- ½ cup of frozen pineapple
- 1 mango, peeled, pitted and diced
- 1 medium banana, thickly sliced
- ¼ cup of coconut milk
- 1 cup of water
- 1 teaspoon of coconut flour
Directions:
- Add the pineapple, mango and banana in the blender.
- Add the coconut water, coconut milk and water and start blending.
- As soon as the smoothie reaches a smooth texture, add the coconut flour and blend for a few seconds.
- Pour the smoothie in a tall, chilled glass and serve at once.
Peanut Butter and Banana smoothie
Ingredients:
- 2 large bananas, thickly sliced
- 2 cups of coconut milk
- ½ cup of peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 2 cups of ice cubes
Directions:
- Add the bananas, coconut milk and peanut butter in the blender and puree until smooth.
- Add the honey and the ice cubes and continue blending for a few seconds.
- Pour the smoothie in a tall, chilled glass and serve at once.
Almond and Chai smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1 banana, thickly chopped
- 1 cup of vanilla protein powder
- ½ teaspoon of ground ginger
- ¼ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon of ground cardamom
- ⅛ teaspoon of ground nutmeg
- 1 cup of almond butter
- 2 cups of baby spinach, rinsed
- 1 cup of almond milk
- ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
Directions:
- Add the banana, spices, baby spinach and half a cup of almond milk in the blender and puree until smooth.
- Add the almond butter and the rest of the almond milk and continue blending for 30 seconds.
- Pour the smoothie in a tall, chilled glass and serve at once.
